Dieses kleine Hotel ist ein grünes Paradies inmitten der staubigen Straßen am Rande der Innenstadt. Wir hatten das Apartment im 1. Obergeschoss mit einem großen Balkon mit Hängematte und Sofaecke im Zimmer. Es hat einfach alles gestimmt und das Frühstück war auch super. Es gab jeden Morgen Joghurt, Kaffee, Obstsalat, Toast, Marmelade und Eier nach Wunsch. Der Aufenthalt war perfekt.

Abends kam manchmal ein unangenehmer Gulligeruch aus dem Bad, aber es half, das Fenster mit Fliegengitter offen zu lassen. Außerdem besteht die Badezimmertür aus aneinandergereihten Ästen und die Lücken sind so groß, dass man durchsehen und dementsprechend auch alles hören und riechen kann. Haben uns für mehr Privatsphäre morgens abwechselnd auf den Balkon verabschiedet.

Flavia who runs the place is an absolute gem. She went anove and beyond in helping me care for my companion who was already very unwell on our arrival. The apoartment is huge and very private and there is a seperate day bed so we could sleep separately during the illness and thd staff made this up for us quickly and efficiently. The mosquito precautions are excellent (they can be a problem according to guidance about Holbox) with effective screens on every door and window and netting over the main bed. The garden is beautifully maintained planted and enclosed. The cleaning in the rooms was very thoroough, quick and responsive. There is a high electric wire above the whole perimiter to prevent intruders and the main gate is kept locked so it felt very secure. The breakfasts are excellent. Filtered and cooled water is on tap and water bottles provided for refilling. It is close to the beach but not noisy.

The communal toilet which is near the eating area is the only serious problem : as lavatory paper can't be flushed it has to be placed in a bin. This bin is open to the air and so open to flies. There is also no toilet seat, so this is a health hazard that should be corrected immediately. One of the four fans in the room was not working, although this wasn't needed, and one shower head was not mixing properly so it only ran very hot. The shower didn't drain well and tended to flood. The bedding on the main bed was not of high quality: felt like nylon (in contrast to the nice Mexican embroidered cotton that was put on the day bed). The towels provided when we asked for a fresh set again were nasty and nylon feeling, and the bathmats a bit stained and sad. Correcting these minor problems would justify the price and give a much more high end feel to an otherwise great place.

Tout était parfait, un vrai paradis tres dépaysant, petit déjeuner excellent.

Beautiful boutique hotel , our room was stunning , huge , large comfortable bed , rain shower , veranda , the garden is a tranquil oasis and Flavia the manger and her husband were lovely and helpful , delicious breakfast , we loved every minute of our stay and would come back in a heartbeat

Nothing it was all wonderful

The room was terrific. The pool was nice. The grounds were comfortable. But what made your hotel different was the hospitality of the staff. Flavia was very warm and friendly. She was very helpful in many ways regarding our visit to various destinations and she had a lot of information about the local community. A lot of these conversations probably would not have been possible if it wasn’t for the breakfast served each morning and the relaxing atmosphere.

The distance from the ocean

Lovely inside. Staff were excellent. Comfortable. Great birds.

A little noisy occasionally from neighbours but understandable. A few glitches with the AC that staff dealt with immediately.
