"Can’t wait to stay again!"

Loved staying here, it was the perfect size for our family of four. Everything was easy, Marlene greeted us at the door when we arrived, fire was roaring, breakfast in the fridge- we were all really happy.

Could have maybe used a toddler rail on the top bunk? But honestly we’d stay there again without question.

Beautiful place that had everything we needed. The fire was going when we arrived, everything felt very homely

There are no heaters in the bedroom. We left the doors open, the fire was lovely.

"The perfect place with an amazing host"

Marlene went above and beyond. She is a great host, her home is amazing and the location is perfect! The street with the best view of the mountain, very close to restaurants, great breakfast, lots of great books around the house, amazing house and the fire was perfect to warm up the place. I had just done the tongariro alpine crossing and Marlene gave me epsom salts to put in the bath to soothe my muscles, and she always made sure the fire was on to keep the house warm. Scooty is the cutest thing! Thank you so much, Marlene, for having me at your home.
