The location is rural and is not far from the town. The place itself is small and compact. Our advice would be to have what you need in 1 case to allow you a bit more. The host was informative and helpful. Due to the weather we stayed inside. The host did offer to show us how to work the heating. Our tip would be to ask to be shown as we woke in the night, and then you will sleep comfortably. Having the sink to wash up is a bonus. You can buy a small bottle of wine and beers. We took our own as this proved cheaper for us and we had the drinks we liked. This is normal in b&b and hotels.

We did find the size a bit small for so one to be mindful if you like space, such as having a sofa. We did find the toast to be very rubbery, but I'm not sure if this was due to it being in the fridge. Also, the cereal was only 1 type, which, to date, we have had a selection. Just suggestions for the next guests.

Provided a lovely breakfast & the cabin was in a beautiful location so you could sit out in the morning listening to the birds.

What a beautiful and serene B&B located overlooking trees and a field. Our host Fiona was so welcoming and informative of the local area. We enjoyed the provided breakfast on the deck in the sun. Perfect 😀

Small but well equip and clean. Well thought out in terms of layout. Good for overnight stay. Lovely owner.

Might be a bit too small for longer stay. Breakfast included comprise of 2 tubs of yoghurt, 2 slides of bread and muesli for 2. Missing coffee (have mentioned this to the owner)

Comfortable bed, facility was nice and clean overall

Ridiculous. The "fabulous breakfast" is literally a small portion of yogurt, a slice of toast and some butter that you can spread over it. That's literally it. Why even advertise breakfast if you are unable to provide it? When showering, the hot water ran out in two minutes and I was left with a sudden ice cold shower. My partner decided to not shower at a due to this. How anyone would be OK with these standards, I really don't know.

Lovely spot for a one night stop off on the way to Taranaki. Beautiful location and very friendly host.
