Bed was super comfy, with great linen. Great breakfast.

I would have liked to have had a wee table and chairs to eat our breakfast at (indoors).

It was a very lovely stay. Louise and John are wonderful hosts, and we had some nice chats with them. We especially enjoyed the outdoor seating with the view of the garden. It was wonderful to sit there and relax after a long hiking day in Abel Tasman with occasional visits by Rosie the dog and Pete the cat (and Pete's shy brother Hank who kept watching us from a distance :)). The room had everything we needed, comfortable bed, spacious bathroom, small kitchenette with washing machine. We did not use the pool and didn't eat breakfast there as we prefer to eat a big hot breakfast and then skip lunch altogether but the fruit salad looked lovely.

Can't think of anything. We would stay there again without hesitation and highly recommend it. Maybe if you are interested in being within walking distance of a busy downtown area, this place is not for you. But if you enjoy a quiet, relaxing environment with a beautiful garden and friendly hosts, absolutely go for it.

Friendly hosts, beautiful fresh fruit salad and yoghurt, toast, tea and coffee for breakfast. Gardens are Devine and room comfortable. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Location, pleasant ambience, & people . Delicious fresh fruit & yummy yoghurt for breakfast. Sensor lights at night great for returning in the dark.

Fantastic hosts. Outdoor room with a large sheltered area to sit and eat. This area has a fantastic view of the well maintained gardens. There is a private well cared for pool. Delicious continental breakfast. Shops and restaurants are a very short drive away, with plenty to choose from.

The hosts were a really nice couple. Lovely accommodation with a very comfortable bed and a really nice bathroom. Beautiful garden where you could sit just outside of your room. There was also a small swimming pool. Cereal, bread, jam and yogurt for breakfast together with a lovely fruit salad.

Louise and John are excellent hosts, and make you feel comfortable straight away. The bed is super comfy and breakfast choices are healthy. We enjoyed our stay, and especially loved the kittens and Rosie the dog.
