Tides Dhigurah

Very nice and small B&B. Excellent host with very nice English. Very accomodating and helpful. Gave us takeaway breakfast when we were leaving early. Very private and quiet location. Large room, fridge.

The bathroom smelled really bad - like sewage. It was very clean, but I think there is a problem with the sewage.

This was already the second time that we stayed in the Tides Guesthouse and nothing has changed within a year (in a positiv way)! The staff is still very friendly and helpflul. The daily breakfast is very tasty. The rooms are cleaned every day and you get new towls whenever you need them. In addition, the staff organises whale shark, manta and other tours. Don't worry about the transfer to Dhigurah, the Tides Guesthouse also takes care of that! A special thank you goes to Hafeez (owner) and Lahiru (staff)! They are taking very good care of all guests and whenever you have a request, they handle it!

Everything was great. We were welcome at the getty and given a ride with the buggy to the guesthouse. Bicester, welcome fresh coconut for all of us. Hafeez organized our trip upon our requests with his doni, and we had 2 fantastic experiences exploring manta, whale sharks and turtles, and lots of fish The island is very safe. We'd left our key on the door 24/7, and locals are very friendly. We miss Zuura and her family. Everyone is friendly and nice Lion at Tides was always ready to meet any of our requests. Beds and pillows were comfortable! A/C and fan in the room to use as preferred. Also boiler and all necessary for tea and coffee available in the room Sockets are universal. We did not need to use the adaptors. Toilet with nice shower/good size provided with soap, shower gel, and shampoo(not conditionnair) Bath and beach towels are always available Dhigurah gas got one of the sandbank/ beaches in the world; its forest is very interesting. Nice breakfast too. The garden was very cute and we enjoyed our chat out there. The room was a good size for 2 of us, just fine when we were 3, but we were outdoors all the time and did not mind. Difficult to walk with all lugguges on the way. Few min walking from the beach All great!

Very nice and simple good ac and bedroom very clean

The breakfast was well presented and healthy. We liked the fruit, fruit juice and cooked eggs with something different added each day. The dining area was lovely…..beautiful garden and peaceful little nook.

Nothing could have made it better……maybe a few more days to enjoy ourselves !

The room was clean. The staff and owner were always helpful and attentive. The Maldivian breakfast was perfect.

Small cozy hotel in the heart of the island 🏝️ Hafeez and Lahiru made our stay super comfortable and were always there to help! We went for both manta and whale shark trips when it was convenient for us and were lucky to encounter these creatures. The hotel is clean and our room was made up everything we were back from the trip! Overall stay and the atmosphere were really welcoming and comfortable, same as the island itself Can’t wait to come back 💛

Maldives doesn't really have sewage system, so everything just goes to the ocean, so it could be nice to bring awareness of not throwing anything to the toilet. A sign in the bathroom would do the job :))
