This is a perfect guest house in terms of vibe, location, privacy, and price. It has only 4 rooms and is being managed by a single person onsite which means a very relaxing stay. I think it has the prettiest land-scaping/garden in the island (Others are perhaps Lily's and Seaside). The room and bathroom are large. The bed is very comfy and everything looks new. I have checked most of the other guest houses on the island and Tides is hands down the best, particularly for solo or couple travelers looking for relazation and island vibe (other than multi story hotels). Tides has a central location. The urban area of the island (marts, souvonir shops, restaurants, harbour, etc. are all easliy reachable within a 10min walk max). The beach is 3min walk. Bike is recommended to reach sand bank area (instead of ~45min walk).

There is a bad smell that comes out of the bathroom drain(s) but in fairness, this issue is present in other guest houses as well. I found covering the drains (with the small trash bin) when not in use helps much reduce it. Providing bike rental on site would be best rather than renting from others (but apparently there are no free bikes offered anywhere: 5$/8$ for half/full day). Communication through booking.com/whattsap needs to be more responsive.

Great central location. Nice big rooms and bathroom. Good facilities. Nice Maldivian breakfast. Beautiful garden and balcony for sitting outside.

Pity we only stayed one night with them

Our stay was just amazing. Personal was very helpful and always helped us with any questions. They organized our transfer from airport, all our excursions (we were lucky enough to see whale shark, manta ray, sharks, turtles and octopus). They also served breakfast - continental and Maldivian (roshi with tuna was delicious). There is only four rooms so you will feel yourself very exclusive. We enjoyed our stay in Tides and I highly recommend it!

A great place to stay - the unit was very comfortable, spacious and clean. Our hosts were happy to organise three different snorkeling excursions and speedboat transfers from and to Male for us which was much appreciated.

All of the staff were amazing and couldn’t do enough for us. The room was very clean, cool and comfortable. The room was cleaned daily with a bottle of water. It was easy to arrange the excursions and we had a great time on them, we were well looked after. Everything was perfect and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tides.

What a fantastic little hotel on the beautiful island of Dhigurah. Haseev was the most wonderful host who went out of his way to ensure we had a fantastic holiday. Through him we booked the fishing, manta ray, whale shark and nurse shark trips… we loved them all and would highly recommend. We didn’t see any whale sharks but loved the trip anyway. We saw dolphin and had an amazing time snorkelling. We had two rooms for our family of 6 (inc 4 children) they had everything we needed and we felt very happy there. It is very easy to walk to a shop, restaurants and the beach. Recommend Hermit’s for food, just a 5 minute walk away. Really hope we can return one day x
