Bnb/hotel was charming, guests are treated to a scrumptious breakfast and greeted by the friendly owner, his dog Banana, and cat. The spacious and pristine rooms complement the ideal location within walking distance of Dongdamen Night Market, ensuring a delightful stay for all. Also, amazing ocean views from the 4th floor.

Overall, my stay was exceptional with nothing to complain about. While the absence of an elevator means climbing four flights of stairs to the 4th floor, it's manageable and doesn't detract significantly from the experience

"A beautiful and comfortable stay in beautiful Hualien, a short trip to Taroko Gorge!"

Initially, the place is just really nice, clean, thoughtfully decorated, and in a great location. You are right across from a walkway alongside the water, and maybe a five minute walk from the famous pebbled Hua Lien waterside. The owner is very friendly and kind. The breakfasts were delicious and healthy. Banana, the resident dog, is so cute and shy and friendly. Everyone loved her. The way they set up breakfast is very sweet and nice. Both mornings, we were able to talked with others. Unfortunately, our last morning was when there was a huge earthquake. The owners and staff were immediately cleaning and checking in on us. They were dealing with the after effects of the earthquake, yet they were still so kind and helpful in ensuring we could all make safe plans to leave the area. Because of this, we cannot wait to return. The room is truly very big and clean, and our patio opened right to the seaside. We can’t wait to return!

Very friendly and helpful staff, spacious room with all you need and japanese toilets. Located right next to the ocean and a 10min walk from the city center. Quiet and beautiful. I can only recommend.
