The Mulberry Inn -An Historic Bed and Breakfast

Easy parking, great location, classic historic house, friendly people and great breakfast.

We loved Peggy! She is the ultimate host. Very accommodating and considerate. She is very entertaining as well. We were sad that we had to leave. St George is a beautiful town. The restaurants were fantastic as well and they were within walking distance.

The first room we were in had a claw tub which was very difficult to take a shower. And it had a very small sink. Peggy was gracious enough to give us another room which was on the ground floor which was bigger and had a walk in shower. My wife had foot surgery, so that was a lot easier and safer for her.

If you love quaint, historical buildings, you'll adore staying in this B&B with its many antique touches. We especially enjoyed the outstanding breakfasts and warm, cozy breakfast room which we shared with several other guests, giving us an opportunity to make new friends.

While we were happy with the ambience of this lovely old place, someone prefering very modern accomodations might not enjoy it as much as we did.

Attention to detail. Wonderful breakfasts. Walking distance to Ancestors Square and historical sites.

There is nothing we didn't like.

The house and rooms are beautiful, breakfast was amazing, and the staff were so kind and helpful. The location is very close to multiple restaurants and cute shops you can walk to, we loved are time here.

The property was the perfect illustration of a stately home from 1873. From the 10’ ceilings, crown molding, 18” thick walls, hand hewn mill work, and period authentic furniture, this was not only a wonderfully preserved home but a labor of love by the proprietor Peggy. The delicious breakfast was exquisitely prepared and presented in the dining room, and Peggy took the time to share many details about her adventures since purchasing the property. We will make this an annual destination and as a matter of fact, we’ve already made a reservation in December to appreciate the home in full Christmas holiday attire.

Even though the weather was nice, a 4” layer of fresh snow would make the place magical.
