"Great stay at a historic hotel"

On Friday and Saturday evenings the hotel’s underground bar is open. We went on a Friday night and had a great evening

"Beds are comfy, towels & linens are clean, and who can turn down a stay at a historic hotel!"

Cozy historic hotel that is very clean and a fun place to stay! There are tours of the tunnels under downtown and a cool speak easy downstairs!

It would have been nice to have a bottle of water available along with the juice. Individual milk containers instead of the larger sized one offered in the fridge.

We celebrated our 20th anniversary, and the king bed and extra gift bag made everything wonderful. Slept very well in the comfortable bed!

"Totally unique chance to stay in a historic hotel"

The communal kitchen and parlor are so nice and homey, the room with two beds was also really nice-- it was fun to be in a unique place with so much personality rather than another chain motel. A stocked full kitchen was such an unexpected bonus!

The bathroom for the 2 bed room is shared and the shower had sad pressure-- there might be better showers in some of the other rooms. Make sure your phone number is right in the reservation because it's not too busy, so there was no one there to check us in when we arrived- we had to call. No stress at all, everyone was super nice and it was cool to have a historic building to ourselves. Be aware, the train tracks are nearby so you can hear trains at night.

"Very comfortable bed."

We didn't eat the breakfast there. We had packed our own food for our travels. We were not on a vacation. We were moving my parents back from Arizona to Minnesota. It was a very interesting place.
