Hanover House Bed and Breakfast

Breakfast was limited to an omelette with potatoes and a small plate of grapes and apple. Not what you’d expect from a Bed and Breakfast property.

The house had a musty, old smell. The shower door where it meets the floor, was dirty. Couldn’t sit on the chairs on the deck because of spider webs.

Kim is a great host!

The house had lots of character, the host was very friendly and the breakfast was delicious. An easy walk to Niagara Falls made it perfect.

Very charming and cosy B&B. Great location - close enough to all the sites, but far enough from somewhat rundown city center. Bathrooms are in the room (unlike in some other B&B properties, where they might be shared with other guests). Large parking lot, so no issues with parking. The hostess is pleasant and helpful (advised on restaurants in town and sightseeing).

Other than the front lawn, which is absolutely beautiful, the other outdoors parts of the property might now be as cosy or well maintained as should be.

It was a charming old house full of interesting antiques. The location was great - just a short walk by the river to the falls. Kim was friendly and very accommodating. The room and bathroom were clean, comfy and spacious.

The closeness to the town and state park. We could walk.

Our room was too small. It was difficult to fit our two suit cases, but we did chose this small room, just didn't realize how small it was.

Kim was a great host. The house is awesome. The rooms were cozy and comfortable.

Really nothing, the AC unit in our room was loud and "clanky" all else was fine

Felt like a home with living room and dining table. It was nice to see all the flowers and gardens around the property.  Nice architecture and creative decorations. 

If the windows were operable, then fresh air would be available.
