"Truly immersive local travel"

If you want to experience "community travel" and truly immerse yourself in the culture, food and people, Maison du Pays is certainly for you! Thinh, the owner, is the man with a vision to bring the community together, share the local culture, food and the love for his hometown in everything he does. We thoroughly enjoyed the local bike tour, every stop was very memorable thanks to the warm, hospitable locals. They made us feel like visiting a friend or family member we haven't seen for a long time. The food made by Thinh's family was tasty and very authentic. Ben Tre is my mum's hometown and I wanted to give my husband a similar experience that I had in my childhood, Maison du Pays didn't disappoint :)

The location is quite far from Ben Tre city (around 40mn drive). Plus, Giong Trom is a big region so if you want to visit Ben Tre or other places, you need to book taxi in advance, which the host is more than happy to assist.
