Apaula Heights Lounge

This is the South Pacific so anyone going there has to adjust their expectations unless of course you stay in a large international hotel. Even then there are things you cannot control. The people are lovely. My hosts in particular, couldn’t have done any more for me if they tried. They arranged my transport from the airport, got me a guide and if they were going out they asked me if I wanted to tag along. All members of the family sat and chatted to me and made me feel part of the family. Sunday lunch is a big thing there so I got to experience the food, how it’s made and course it’s taste. Delicious!

I have learnt that in the South Pacific there are chickens roaming around everywhere. The roosters start crowing at about 5 am every morning. Then there are the dogs. Every house seems to have several and they bark at anything passing their owners house. This can go on all night. Forget about a quiet nights sleep! Apaula heights is walking distance from town but I was put off because of the dogs. My hosts told me how to deal with them but I didn’t feel good about walking past them.

The outdoor balcony was so beautiful during all times of the day. The breakfast was the best part of it, meals were delicious and staff were very accommodating to my departures times. The outdoor shower was very cool and loved using it

Amazing view and very very lovely staff, nice cozy room, excellent parking and very central in the main city

Could of used a cook top and pot and pan in the room to cook some lunch’s / dinners otherwise everything was perfect!

The Garden, the view, the outdoor shower, comfy bed, lovely fale. Plus the people!

The views are amazing all the staff are very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was great every morning. Highly recommend 👌

Nice location, overlooking the town of apia . Breakfast was huuige and delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful . Outside shower was great, room was quaint and awesome. Walking to town was 10mins away
