Staying at Apaula Heights Lounge was one of the best stays of my life. I felt like part of a family, not a paying guest. Everyone was exceptionally nice. The fale and exclusive use outdoor shower and toilet were all clean and stocked with all the necessities. And omg the brekkies were out of this world. Both in quality and quantity.

You do need to walk up a bit to get to it. You’ll be rewarded with views though.

"Perfect treehouse-type accommodation -"

View, staff, outdoor feel, quiet, best breakfast of my trip, fun outdoor shower, huge facility with both a private balcony and a large communal deck. "Small" facility with "big" amenities. As laid back as it's possible to be.

Bit of a steep climb from town if you are walking, but a very short cab ride if you're not. Toilet not in the room, but a few steps away, and was not shared.

The road there. Not the property's fault. Hope the government get it fix soon for the sake of Apaula Heights business
