Room far too small, tried to leave within 5 minutes of arrival. Landlady would not open the remote gate until I threatened to call the police as she was holding me against my wishes.

They did not offer breakfast but was advertised as bed and breakfast

I've never encountered such a rude hostess...before! She's arrogant, loud & rude to the core. nd I doubt it's the same elderly owner that we know to run the place. We had an accident at night & had no option but to check in Maritzburg. We booked online in the early hours of the morning. My booking was accepted, got to the property & unfortunately we were not attended to. We left & soughted alternative accommodation for the night. The next day we called the property owner to check if she redeemed yesterday's booking & to further accommodate us, Oh man....rude is an understatement! she swore at me, told me how much we irritated her at night & said we must go back to "whichever country we came from". If this establishment doesn't take late check ins just set the extra net to disallow bookings after 9. It's that simple really..
