Schönes Haus und sehr gutes Frühstück.

Es war direkt neben der Hauptstraße schon sehr laut.

Pleasant small guest house with only 2 small huts, a separate breakfast room and a pool in very close proximity to Franschhoeks restaurants and shops. We enjoyed our stay with Debbie and Lee who gave great recommendations on what to do as well as where to eat or have a drink.

Nothing to mention

Traditional Rondavels, nice to stay in true African style dwellings albeit fitted out without all the modern conveniences for our comfort. Great hosts, great location and tasty breakfasts (complete with delicious homemade Lemon Curd). Also good vegan options at breakfast. Seeing beautiful Cape sunbirds and other local birds.

Nothing - we liked everything.

Wir hatten das hintere Roundhouse beim Pool. Es ist sehr schön eingerichtet und alles war sehr sauber. Die Besitzerin ist hier sehr bemüht. Der Pool war sauber und wir konnten uns gut erfrischen. In 5 Minuten ist man bei der Hauptstraße auf Höhe TukTuk, Alles ist sicher und das Auto kann auf dem Grundstück geparkt werden. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker.

Das Haus liegt an der großen Straße zum Pass. Da das Dach aus Schilf das Haus sehr hellhörig macht sind ist der Verkehr sehr laut. Ich weiß, für die Lage kann die Besitzerin nichts, man sollte es aber doch wissen. Ohrstöpsel könnten bereit liegen.

Die Reed gedeckte Rundhütte.

Die beiden Rundhütten die es gibt liegen mit der Rückseite direkt an der Hauptstraße R45, es ist total laut, man hat das Gefühl, das die Autos sozusagen direkt durchs Bett fahren, an Schlaf war fast nicht zu denken. Das Frühstück war auch nur Basic.

Only small feedback was the main road noise but it didn’t affect us, just a comment for guests in the future who may be light sleepers!
