"Luxury stay in a beautiful old house."

The house was very characterful, old but modernised in a tasteful way. There were lots of small personal touches (Home made rusks, etc.). The outdoor swimming pool was great. The decor was quirky but tasteful and interesting. The huge bed was extremely comfortable. The facilities (access to shared kitchen, fridge etc.) were comprehensive. The breakfast was excellent. High quality linens, towels and other essentials.

Not much. The toilet seat was a bit flimsy and felt a little out of step with the high standard of everything else, but really, that is nitpicking.

What a beautiful guesthouse. Old world charm everywhere. Tanya, our host, is such a friendly and special person. The town is quaint and its people are all very friendly. Worth the turn off the highway

Breakfast was delicious and staff friendly and kind

We stayed in teh main house - we prefer the cottage as there are just 2 of us
