The staff was friendly and the property was clean

When we leave there was no one to help.

Disappointed and very cross with this establishment. We arrived at around 7pm after a 5 hour drive to be told that they had double booked and there was no room for us. There was no message via booking.com, our booking actually confirmed in the system. Apparently they said they tried to call. We're from outside SA, our phones only work on WhatsApp. I don't understand how they couldn't message via bookings.com. It looked like a nice establishment, and is in an excellent location for us, as we're intending to be monthly visitors to the town, and looking for somewhere we can book often. I sent another message asking about this, but heard nothing back. It's very odd.

I liked the reception I got from the staff

The layout; the staff; arrangement and the royal feel room we had.

We didn't see their houserules; breakfast times and check-in/out times.

the young man looking after the place was really friendly and went out of his way to make us feel comfortable.

The toilet did not have a door but rather a curtain which made it an uncomfortable moment
