"We were unsure of the area. Inside was better than the outside appearance.Host was friendly."

It had secure parking and was close to the N1

The area is rather tatty and the B&B not very attractive from the outside.

"Disappointing overnight stay"

Wonderful welcome by the manageress, Cindy

No water or electricity from 10pm on the night of our stay, and no comms from the staff to explain that the entire Town had had a power failure. No electricity or water when we left at 8am the next day. Apologies from the manageress on our departure but we'll give Winburg a miss next time we are travelling up north.

I really enjoyed the stay, although I wasn't there for long. I really enjoyed the friendly staff. They were very helpful even though I arrived much later in the evening. They offered to carry my luggage up the stairs. I had to leave early the next morning for Pretoria I did not have an opportunity for breakfast.

My room had a slight problem with the shower plumbing but nothing that made they stay worse.
