Everything. From check in to the comfort of the rooms and the wonderfully clean pool it was excellent. Great value for money! We will be back.

Nice pool area and air conditioned rooms. Clean bedding.

Unfortunately our two rooms (Room 1 and 2) had a communal living area with two other rooms. This wasn't disclosed at the time of booking. The guest in Room 3 made a hell of a noise from 3am Sunday morning. He had lost his key so staff had to help him with another set. Although this is by no means the fault of the establishment, lights were being put on and off in the communal living area with lots of noise and the guest also didn't close his bedroom door. It was impossible to get any sleep... If I had the option, I would have preferred rooms that weren't part of a communal living area. Braai wasn't cleaned. Pillows are a bit flat, should probably be replaced.

Good location in central Paarl, nice original building, well maintained

When we arrived we were told there was a plumber fixing something in our room and we’d need to wait until they were finished to move into the room - this was inconvenient, but understandable. We then found out that the previous guests had not vacated the room and some were still in it- not sure why the staff lied about this. I their credit they did try to make it up to us with free breakfast; the breakfast was good. Unfortunately the stay was negatively affected by our arrival experience
