Le Petit Karoo

Ich komme schon seit einer ganzen Weile auf die Le Petit Karoo Ranch, insgesamt war ich jetzt schon sechsmal hier. Ich kenne die Unterkunft also noch von früher und kann echt gut beurteilen, was sich getan hat. ​Tracy und Karen haben die Ranch vor knapp zwei Jahren übernommen und man merkt sofort: Die beiden sind die geborenen Gastgeberinnen. Sie haben hier ihr absolutes Herzensprojekt gefunden und stecken wahnsinnig viel Liebe rein. Es hat sich seit dem Wechsel echt viel getan – sie haben viele Ecken angepackt und das Ganze richtig schön weiterentwickelt, ohne dass der alte Charme verloren gegangen ist. ​Das Abendessen wird von den beiden immer frisch zubereitet und ist jedes Mal ein Highlight. Man merkt einfach, dass sie mit Herzblut dabei sind. Wer in Oudtshoorn eine ehrliche, herzliche Unterkunft sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Ich freue mich schon auf das siebte Mal!

es waren 42 Grad, so dass es in den Zelten einfach zu heiß war, aber wir waren mit 8 Personen dort und könnten auf klimatisierte Zimmer umbuchen

Beautiful view and room, very clean and comfortable beds. Saw one springbok and many beautiful birds. The premises also has its own small hiking trail. Unfortunately we were not lucky with the weather

If you’re looking for a quiet getaway with beautiful surroundings, this place is a gem. The views are absolutely stunning and create such a relaxing atmosphere. The room was comfortable and well-kept, making it easy to unwind and enjoy the stay. The food was delicious and clearly prepared with care, and the host added so much personality to the experience — friendly, welcoming, and genuinely fun to chat with. Overall, a lovely stay that combines peace, great scenery, good food, and warm hospitality. Highly recommended!

Where should I start 🤩 from feeling very welcomed from the first second we arrived, to stunning szenery and wonderful hikes within the parameter of the ranch, to tasty breakfast and awesome dinner creations as well, to a room with A VIEW and an aircon 😂 (which we loved tbh), to visits at the nearby ostrich farm and the awesome Buffelsdrift, to just having fun with the playground and the pool and the 1 1/2 yrs old child that we had in our group with us to the cute animals (eg the big turtle) they have - WE LOVED IT ALL!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED PLACE TO STAY 🥰

Wir haben die Aussicht wirklich jeden Tag und Abend genossen und die Lage ist für uns ein absoluter Traum. Zwar etwas entfernt von Outshoorn aber dafür ruhig und gefühlt mitten in der kleinen Karoo. Das Abendessen war sehr lecker und der Pool eine willkommen Abkühlung nach einer Unternehmung.

Grundsätzlich waren wir sehr zufrieden hatten nur ein wenig das Gefühl, dass die Preise etwas zu hoch sind im Vergleich zu anderen Unterkünften.

Didn’t have breakfast , dinners were good Desserts were delicious.

Potato Salad only cause it had bits of beacon which I don’t eat.
