Le Petit Karoo

Nous avons dormi dans une tente, et c’était une expérience super que nous avons beaucoup apprécié.

Le cadre est magnifique

Les chambres sont propres mais abîmées avec le temps. serrures vétustes et robinetteries non fixées. Faïences décollées. La salle de bain aurait bien besoin d' une rénovation Wifi très faible. Les repas sont servis sous forme de menus. Si vous souhaitez seulement 1 seul plat, le menu entier sera facturé. Très belles alternatives à côté pour dîner.

We stayed in the tent and loved it. Very clean and a very comfortable bed. Tracy and Karen are the new owners and have thought of everything down to the smallest detail. It was wonderful to relax in the hot tub with views of nature. The grounds themselves weren’t very lively, but that was fine

Die Lage ist traumhaft und ruhig. Die Anlage ist weitläufig. Wir hatten die Honeymoon Suite mit einer kleinen Terrasse und traumhaften Blick in die Landschaft.

Alles bestens

Die Lage auf dem Hügel war ein Traum, der Ausblick. Das Personal und die Besitzer waren außergewöhnlich nett, man hat sich direkt willkommen gefühlt. Das Abendessen hat sehr lecker geschmeckt. Die Besitzer waren so lieb und haben das Abendessen eine Stunde nach vorne verlegt damit es für die Familien mit Babys einfache ist.

Badezimmer sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber super sauber, daher hat es nicht gestört. Ansonsten gibt es nichts negatives

Being able to sit and have coffee looking at the surroundings were great. Taking an open air bath was an experience, had a lovely view whilst relaxing. We were given a lot of ginger biscuits that I devoured! We were given mineral bottled water, soap, shampoo and even bubble bath. The bed was comfy too and we slept really well. There is a coffee station and small fridge. Our tent was cleaned and our biscuit holder filled with more biscuits which was a nice suprise, as I had planned on tidying up after returning from our excursions and as it was already tidied up, I could enjoy biscuits and tea instead :D

We love being secluded and thought we would be far away from people to soak up bird song. Found we were actually very close to other units and glamp tents on the property, which we could not tell the proximity from the pics until we arrived. The toilet is not conveniently placed. To get to it, you had to exit the tent from the front and walk around the tent to use it, and then walk all around again and enter the tent in the front and exit the tent at the back to wash your hands. Maybe the bathroom could be modified to allow entry from the bath and basin. Additional packing space would be great too and a mini microwave on the fridge to heat up left overs. The road can be scary and we wonder what would happen if there was a car going down to exit and a car wanting to enter, if there would be two separate roads to drive on for each driver as the road is on a thin slope and not able to dip onto the side for a car to pass, so we thought that in such a situation (as luckily we did not need to maneuver the road) if there is an alternative road or if the oncoming driver from the bottom of the road would need to reverse back to the gate, for the vehicle coming from the top to exit.

Het sanitair behoeft renovatie. En er kan wat opgeruimd worden …

STUNNING, hospital staff, good food

Wish the prices for services were a bit more upfront- would be good to have breakfast prices in the welcome book. Not their responsibility, but reccomend having a car when you stay here
