Very clean and welcoming staff

The shower the hot water comes out for a short period of time and then it's cold icy water. Unfortunately I had to have a cold shower. This happened today the 17 July 2025. I left the lodge at 5:45am . Please improve the hot water in the shower in the morning. Apart from this my stay was good.

The accommodation itself was traditional. It was very pleasant.

Staff could have been a little more friendly. We arrived after a full day on the bikes to be told that our reservation for supper was forgotten and that we needed to go into town. Although breakfast was also forgotten about, they made a plan for the next morning. However, what was on the menu for breakfast and what we got was not what was stipulated when confirming the meals. Would have been a higher rating. However, the owner hasn't even been in touch to apologise, even after sending him an email. Won't be back there based on this and won't recommend it to friends and family.
