I just don’t think the pictures do this beautiful home justice. The room was superb with amazing original features but all of the modern home comforts you could need. Brenda was also just so welcoming and kind and helped us enjoy our stay. I couldn’t recommend this place more.

There wasn’t anything not to like.

"Beautiful historic B&B in wonderful Rye"

We had a wonderful stay at The Tea House for 2 night. Brenda was the perfect host, went above and beyond to make our stay so perfect including decorations for our wedding anniversary! The property charming and historic, in a perfect location for exploring Rye. Our room was large and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was a delight. We would highly recommend The Tea House for anyone wanting to visit Rye, we’ll definitely be back!

The Tea House was a lovely place to stay in an ideal location in the heart of Rye. Brenda was super lovely and welcoming - she had thought through it all (tea, coffee, chocs)! The Mint Suite was super cozy and quaint, we would defo visit again!

"A quaint and very well-located guesthouse, shame about the un comfy mattress!"

A nice quaint little guesthouse, situated right in the heart of Rye. Perfect for exploring the town, nature reserve and camber sands by foot/bus.

The mattress was extremely soft and uncomfortable
