La Stanza

Place was as described. Very clean. Bed comfortable. Good location. Check in process was fine. Breakfast at nearby cafe was easy & pleasant.

Really minor things! It was a little noisy at night as familiy next door stay out late (take ear plugs if it bothers you). Could do with some hooks for towels. Maybe tea towel if you wanted to use plates. Knife perhaps.

The location is perfect, facing the promenade. Located at some nearby delicious restaurants. Although it is situated in the old city, it is very easy to access the central area on foot. In less than 15 minutes you can find yourself at the central station. The bathroom is spacious and the room was clean and included all the necessities as the description provided. The cafeteria for breakfast (Caffe del accademia) is nearby (3 minutes away) and the staff were also welcoming. We were also allowed to leave the luggages stored when checking out.

Main door is not sound proof. The area in the evening can be hectic with children playing and the locals having a chat. AC needs some cleaning.

Our stay in LaStanza was very nice. Room met our expectations, it's located just next to the sea and old town in Bari, really recommended!

Unfortunately, in the room there was a poor light, the bulb at the ceiling was very weak. Personally, I'd prefer it to be stronger, but it's just a little detail actually, as we anyway spent most of the time outside. What I also didn't like at all is that we were supposed to leave the room until 10a.m. and the cleaning lady knocked to the door literally at 9:58 a.m. which caused a bit of unnecessary stress, as we were just about to leave. In fact, it wasn't her fault as we should have left at 10:00am at latest, but on the other hand a little bit more of flexibility would be welcome :-)

Perfect little room in the old city. Comfortable and not too noisy! Great location to access everything in Bari. Enough hot water for two. The little included coffee and croissant at the corner bistro are a nice extra!

The room could use some hook for towels drying and hanger for clothes. The shower drain is not efficient enough, bathroom tends to get flooded... Could be fixed!

The very nice position near the museum and cathedral and the church, ln the hearth of the old city. to see the sunset, the real kind guy who take me at the room, and he always answered to my messages even if in late... when I was already organized to do others things

Impossible to relax, everyone is screaming all the time in the street always also at midnight, just in the place where that s the room. And also if I asked to not scream, in italian language, they continued. They finished only when I wrote to the propriety. Really very expensive for a very small humid room and with walls not comply with the regarding insulation law. Very humid, they don't have electric heaters but an air conditioner that produces some hot air. Maybe it s better in summer. Really very kind, folksy and disorganized people in general. (they don t give to you the code to open where to put the key but they want that you live the room and put the key, without know the code) Everyone tries to steal money from you in any way possible (taxi drivers, traders, etc.) Furthermore, for 2 euros of regional tax not included, they chase you as if they were 200 euros. They don't know how to use the credit card. Many places don't accept it, you can only use cash (for example museums). Although fishing is prohibited in the port, it is full of illegal fishermen. Impossible to sleep in Bari Vecchia, betrer choise another place. There are many better places to sleep and shop in Bari, apart from the ridiculous map they built for foreign tourists that don t known how many things (restaurant and shop) there are in Bari. This is not the real Italy. It was impossible to sleep, too much noise. Albania is really cheaper and you have many better services. I was so sad and disappointment to saw that... This poor and backward south Italy...

Location was fantastic

I believe the shower drain wasn't vented? this resulted in an odour filling the bathroom and the room.

We didn’t have any breakfast. It wasn’t part of the offer. The location was ideal for the old town. Although the room was small it was ideal for the two night stay and It was quite after 8pm. An ideally location to go to the the old town and have a fun evening at the local downtown restaurants. .

The bed was uncomfortable. The lack of space was evident for a one bedroom apartment and a lack of breakfast for a B & B.

Great room! Very comfortable and clean and modern. The location is so beautiful right on thr water in the old part if town.

The location is a little far from the buses and trains but it's worth the walk and we used e-scooters to get to the bus when needed which was fun and affordable.
