Shandon Bells Guest House

Good location, near to the University of Cork and park. Bathroom was modern. Breakfast was good but expensive.

Room was small and dated. Motel in general needs a refurb.

Breakfast was good and location with stream behind the accommodation was nice. Exterior of building nice.

Inside was quite dated although the bathroom clean and renovated

少し歩くだけで中心部へ行ける。スタッフが明るく接してくれる。選んでいた部屋はとても狭いものだったが、なぜかそれなりに心地よかった。

Very lovely and helpful staff, a lovely room with an excellent power shower and the best breakfast of our whole holiday.

Everything was perfect for us

Not much, really.. smelt and look like a bedsit I had when I was in college back in the 90,s. Had booked this in Jan to go to a concert close by.. Looks nothing like pics on the website. We were put into an attic room. Radiator paint crusty and falling off. Carpet thread bare. The bathroom floor was seriously slippy, but if you did fall, it would be OK cos it was so tiny you wouldn't even hit the ground. Light bulbs are missing. All the furniture was leaning to the right becos the floors were all slanted. Becos, it was an attic you had the ceiling slanted in, and having 2 adults in that one room was a joke. we had to literally climb over each other or crawl around the bed. Keys were just basta keys like you would have in your own bedroom at home. Definitely didn't feel safe. When guests next door were going in and out of their room, it was like they were coming into ours. Oh, and the conditions are their welcome pack. I have stayed in a good few hotels, but I have never seen where they warn their guests about a fine for wetting the bed or vomiting in the room!! 😂
