no hot water,just bed

The black-hearted boss stole my money from the blind spot of the camera.

If you come to Ella, please don't stay in this hotel. The boss steals the guest's money. It's useless to call the police.

The view was lovely with a great balcony. Access to the main strip with a short cut. The room was very clean and remained cool. Good area if you want to be able to go to the main strip but also have the quietness and serenity of the mountains. The staff were so friendly with the biggest smiles on their faces. They made the stay really lovely.

Breathtaking views from my balcony (top floor room) - fireflies sparkling in the palmtrees around - modern design - wonderful breakfast - best service. Been here before and will hopefully come back..

Beautiful view, free breakfast, close to town, hosts nice people. Able to keep cold stuff in their fridge & was given a small electric jug + cups so we could make our own cuppa ( but I had to supply own coffee/ tea & milk).

Beds were hard & had cardboard underneath mattress over the wooden planks to help support things. Towels were made of some stretchy nylon material & were very thin.

Realy great place! Views are great. Beautiful terrace and breakfast very delicious. Close to city center but not on the road. Facilities are a bit old but this is compensated by an incredible host Amit. He was doing his best to meet all my needs and helped with everything. He arranged a scooter and even packed a breakfast for me since I was leaving with an early train. I had a wonderful time there. Amit - I love you, you are my best host in Sri Lanka!

Pay attention with booking of triple rooms because in one of those the mountain view is completely blocked by a huge tree. Luckily I could move to another room but it could be a disappointment. Also in all rooms you here the noise from the road down the valley, but I guess it is unavoidable in Ella.
