The owners of this guesthouse are incredibly kind! As a solo female traveler, I felt very welcome and safe here. The upstairs rooms are very clean, comfortable, and have everything you need. The surroundings are peaceful and quiet, which makes it a very pleasant place to stay. To get to Ella town it’s easiest to take a tuk tuk, but the owner even offered to bring me himself. I decided to stay an extra night, and the downstairs room was less comfortable compared to the upstairs ones, but I’m not sure if they usually rent it out. The breakfast was well prepared and very tasty, and the owner even took me out for a day to show me around, which was a good experience. Overall, I can highly recommend this place!

Heel leuke locatie! Het verblijf is alleen bereikbaar via de spoorweg, wat juist een unieke en leuke ervaring toevoegt. Er is genoeg plek om je tuktuk veilig naast het spoor te parkeren. Het terras biedt een prachtig uitzicht over de omgeving van Ella en een mooie waterval. De kamer was netjes en proper, wat het verblijf extra comfortabel maakte. De eigenaar is ontzettend behulpzaam en gastvrij. Het uitgebreide ontbijt was heerlijk, en we kregen zelfs een speciaal ontbijt mee voor een dagtrip. Een perfecte uitvalsbasis om Ella en de omgeving te verkennen!

We stayed for three nights at the place. The room worked fine. It was clean and cozy. The host family made the stay special, with their unusually friendly and welcoming manner. The location of the place was great, it took 15 minutes to walk to the city. The view from the balcony was amazing. We had a view of the valley, the mountains and a beautiful waterfall. We would definitely recommend this wonderful place.

La vista fantastica sulle montagne, la calma dalla confusione di ella e la gentilezza dei proprietari rendono questo posto davvero fantastico.

Un po’ difficile da raggiungere ma nulla di infattibile.
