Tout etait parfait : l emplacement calme, la vue sur le jardin et la cascade. Magnifique !

C'était un séjour magnifique, l'emplacement extraordinaire (il faut quand même marcher sur les rails et descendre des escaliers donc pas de grosses valises à roulettes ni des talons 😋) on est dans le calme absolu et à 10min du centre ville et de la gare (en longeant les rails) la chambre bien équipée, propre et confortable, c'est pas indiqué sur booking mais il y'a un ventilo, puis le propriétaire et sa famille d'une gentillesse incroyable, je devais prendre le train à 6h du matin il m'a quand même préparé des sandwichs et bananes pour manger sur la route, j'ai vraiment adoré cet endroit, mon préféré de tout le Sri Lanka

Absolutely delicious breakfast. Stunning view and beautiful location. 10 minute walk along the railways tracks into town, away from the noise and air pollution. The family are really gorgeous.

Zalig rustige plek tegen de flank van een heuvel op wandelafstand (over de spoorweg) van Ella. Prachtig uitzicht, terras voor de kamer met zetels en tafel met stoelen. Het ontbijt is heel uitgebreid, erg lekker, gevarieerd, continentaal en Aziatisch. . De hosts zijn heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Er is een boek waarin mogelijke uitstapjes uitgebreid beschreven staan.

- Incredible terrace view -Peaceful, a bit away from the city center, but it is only 10 minutes to walk there - Tidy rooms with AC - Kind hosts

- A bit tricky to get to the place, you have to walk a bit along the train tracks and some stairs, but it was ok, and the hosts helped with our luggages

Saddle Cottage is a hidden gem in Ella — peaceful, welcoming, and surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty. Waking up to the sound of birds and a waterfall in the distance, with mist rolling over the hills, was pure magic. The rooms are clean and cozy, with a balcony offering one of the best views we’ve had in Sri Lanka! The family who runs it couldn’t be kinder — they provided recommendations, helped with anything we needed and served the most delicious varied homemade breakfast each morning. It’s a short walk from the main road along the train tracks, but that’s what makes it feel like your own little sanctuary in the hills. We loved every minute and would happily return!! Highly recommend ☺️
