L’emplacement est parfait

Die Unterkunft liegt etwas außerhalb von Ella, sehr ruhig gelegen mit einem schönen Blick auf einen Wasserfall, was uns sehr gut gefallen hat. Der Weg vom Zentrum in Ella zur Unterkunft dauert über die Gleise gerade mal 10min (Vorsicht: der Weg über die Straßen, den Google Maps vorschlägt, braucht 30min und ist anstrengend). Das Frühstück ist super Lecker und ausgiebig und bei dem Ausblick einfach wunderschön. Wenn wir von unseren Ausflügen wiedergekommen sind, haben wir auch immer eine Teezeit inkl. Snacks kostenlos bekommen.

Das Zimmer hat lediglich einen Ventilator, keine Klimaanlage. Das Bad ist für Sri Lanka in Ordnung. Die Unterkunft ist nicht direkt mit dem Auto oder Tuk Tuk erreichbar, sondern man muss noch die Gleise überqueren. Größere Fahrzeuge wie Busse etc. Können auch diese Straße nicht fahren, sodass wir nicht immer für unsere Ausflüge abgeholt werden konnten, sondern zum Teil ins Zentrum laufen mussten. Der Gastgeber kann leider nicht so wirklich gut Englisch.

Superbe vue depuis le balcon sur la cascade ! Nous sommes en immersion complète dans la nature avec les nombreux oiseaux autour. Le lit est confortable avec une grande moustiquaire. Petit déjeuner délicieux et varié ! Les hôtes sont adorables.

Difficile d’accès (besoin de marcher sur les rails et descendre des escaliers). Pas de climatisation, nous avons eu un peu chaud

The hosts were lovely and let us check in early. The views are stunning and the breakfast was amazing.

The view from this cottage is mesmerizing. It's decently priced given the Ella prices and the owners are super helpful. Note this is a small cottage with one double and one triple occupancy room only, the family is super helpful nice giving you complimentary breakfast, tea and nearby. The railway track is surrounding this village and we saw the train go past by as we reached the place

Note that the path to reach here isn't the easiest. The path to the nearest road is also narrow and steep our cab driver was helpful to take us there each time, else you are looking ag additional tuk tuk fares or 1/1.5km of steep uphill and downhill walks. After this you have to cross the railway crossing and then walk down 30-40 steps. Perfect for youngsters, but consider if travelling with family. Also minor point since it's so im nature, expect minor insects and ants frequent in your room/ walls at times.

Très bon accueil de la part de la famille.

Prachtige liggen en heerlijk terras. Ook de ligging is perfect, via het spoor bereik je alles. Heerlijk gevarieerd ontbijt en een ontzettend lieve eigenaar.

De badkamer is verouderd, daardoor oogt het niet schoon. Een airco en koelkast had fijn geweest.
