River Splendour Home Stay

Our stay was absolutely wonderful and truly memorable! The view from the property was simply breathtaking—waking up to such stunning scenery every day was the highlight of our trip. The facilities were excellent, thoughtfully maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The staff were incredibly warm, helpful, and always ready to assist with anything we needed, which made the experience even more special. The breakfast was absolutely amazing—fresh, delicious, and a perfect way to start the day. One of the best parts about this place is its location. It’s very close to major tourist attractions, making it super convenient to explore the area without any hassle. A special mention to the host, who was truly exceptional—kind, responsive, and made sure we felt right at home throughout our stay. Overall, it was an outstanding experience, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable, and memorable getaway!

There is an odd smell in the bathroom which was not bearable, also the wifi was very slow.Rest everything was amazing, beautiful place to stay on. Worth the price.

Lage war leider sehr abgelegen. Ella town war theoretisch zwar zu Fuß erreichbar aber praktisch nicht da der weg

The hosts were incredibly helpful. The breakfast was very generous. The use of transport from the accommodation, was very useful.

Nothing we didn't like.

It was wonderful stay at river splendour, the waterfall is the highlight of the place. The staff was really good and the breakfast was nice.

The wifi is very poor, so had problem connecting for work. There was no hot water in the morning.. probably there was one geyser connected for everyone and by 8/9 you won’t get any hot water.

Amazing location by its own river where you can go swimming. Great breakfast, and I also got to try out the cooking class which I would highly recommend. Everyone was very helpful with planning my activities and transport as well. Overall, couldn't have asked for more and would love to come back some day!

Alles perfekt! Das Highlight ist der Wasserfall, man kann dort auf Liegen entspannen und dem Wasser zuhören oder zum Wasserfall gehen, sich abkühlen und sogar schwimmen! Wer braucht da einen Pool?

Die Lage ist leider etwas ausserhalb bzw unterhalb von Ella aber der Besitzer organisiert einem jederzeit ein Tuktuk, sogar für die Sonnenaufgangswanderung zum Little Adams Peak um 5 Uhr früh ☺️ Also kein wirklicher Minuspunkt - sollte einem nur bewusst sein.

Lovely family and the waterfall was just something else to be able to experience and enjoy. The rooms were great size

It was a bit further out of the main city but only a short tuktuk into town! The bathroom smelt a bit of mould something post shower
