Villa La Punta

Friendly staff great location

Our stay at Villa La Punta was quiet and wonderful. The staff are very helpful and accommodating. We loved our freshly made breakfast each morning and our proximity to the beach! It was too cold for us to swim but we enjoyed the views. We arrived late but Renato welcomed us all the same and helped us get comfortable after a long day of travelling. The property is in a very quiet and relaxing part of Lima, directly across the street from the Peru Naval Academy. If you want to head to more touristy locations like the Historic Center and Miraflores we recommend you download Cabify and Uber as it makes calling taxis much easier (and is very affordable). There isn’t too much to see around the bnb but there are small markets and restaurants within a few blocks. We loved our stay and would recommend this location to any travelers wishing to get out of the busy downtown of the city. Thank you!!

I had about 18 hours between flights and this was a perfect choice for a one night stay. It was very nice to walk along the boardwalks and cobble beaches for a few hours the next day and it wasn’t too far from the airport. The hotel people were very nice. The bed was comfortable. The building is rather old and odd, but it gives the place interesting character.

The shower has little pressure and only gets kind of warm, but it doesn’t really get cold in Lima so it was certainly tolerable and got me clean.

Great location near the beach. Many restaurants within a few blocks. Staff were friendly and helpful.

No air conditioning - room relies on air circulation, which varies with the weather. No hot water (though a cool shower is ok after a hot day).
