PAWANA VILLAS

A few positives but the negatives unfortunately hugely outweighed them for us. Good food at really reasonable prices and good variety. Decent breakfast included. Spacious, beautiful and (relatively) clean rooms Nice pool and gardens. Once the staff arrived they were attentive and friendly enough

Staff were not present on arrival and were difficult to get hold of - lucky we had our Sim cards already as we ended up having to call 3 different numbers before someone answered. We had just come off our flight so we're exhausted - not a great first impression. The villa itself is lovely, however the upstairs smelled of smoke and downstairs of mold. Luckily we were only 2 so just avoided downstairs. The location is really far from anything you would need and no view for the inconvenience - it's just out the back of a spare block. You really need your own transport. Other smaller things could have been overlooked individually but added up to really detract from our overall stay. No water in the shower at night Tv connection didn't work Non of the listed mini bar items were in the fridge. Sheets were stained. No lock for room or area Minimum drinking water provided - staff gave us small 250ml bottles (one each at a time) upon request and there is nowhere near to buy your own. We could see that the other villas had cushions for deck chairs but ours did not. Construction next door was loud all day with workers able to see straight into our room. Not the places fault but very invasive. .

We were robbed on the very first night. They took American dollars from the bag that we left on the table next to the bed. There is no safe in this hotel. We arrived late and were very tired and went to bed. During check-in, when we took out our passport, the money was in the bag. We got a room next to the kitchen. In the morning, the staff behind the wall was very noisy and next to it was a chicken coop with roosters that have been making noise since early morning. We went to breakfast and waited for it for about 45-50 minutes. Upon returning to the room, we got ready and went to the exchange office. Upon arrival at the exchange office by car, without stopping anywhere, we discovered that there was no money in the bag. Upon returning to the hotel, I asked the staff to study the CCTV cameras. There is no security in the hotel. To which the staff offered to do it themselves. Sit down and watch the video recordings for 7 hours. I realized that the hotel does not bear any responsibility for security. Anyone can enter the hotel from the street. The remaining 2 nights we slept with valuables under the pillow. Breakfasts are a separate story. In the evening they ask you what to cook for you and at what time. In the morning it turns out to be completely different. Your breakfast is not there and you have to go and remind them about yourself and wait 45-50 minutes. Instead of tea they bring coffee. Instead of eggs noodles. And this happens every time. When I asked to show where you wrote down my order, the staff did not answer. They lost it. Language barrier, the staff barely speaks English. I highly do not recommend staying. The security is like in a general train car.

The villa is very nice. The location is wonderful. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated. The host was very kind and communicative. Breakfast was delicious. I am very happy with the accommodation and recommend it with confidence. Thank you!

The staff’s attitude. Lack of clarity of what is included and what is chargeable extra.

Everything was superb, specially the pool, villa and the staff was amazingly helpful and friendly.

The only thing I can say is that the lighting in the room, feels very dark all day, specially when you are travelling with kids.

1. Beautifully designed villa with private pool. 2. Supportive staff - always ready to help 3. Arranged vegetarian as well as jain food whenever possible. 4. The interior design.

1. Rooms should have more light. 2. Little far from Ubud. So consider commutation time.

The villa is spacious and clean. The included breakfast is delicious. And the staffs are helpful and friendly.

The wifi is not very stable.
