Grove House Bed & Breakfast

Everything excellent. Good location as we were attending a birthday celebration in an adjacent village. Garden was well kept with outdoor seating for all guests and very relaxing

Everything from the moment we arrived to when we left was five star from our hosts including Penny (furry friend). Room immaculate, fantastic breakfast (homemade sausages) not including all the unexpected little extras in the room.

Linda and Jonathan (and Penny the dog!) were the most wonderful hosts, making us feel like we had popped over to see family for the weekend from the moment you stepped into the door. They made you feel at home right away and could not do enough to make our stay as lovely as possible. They were so friendly and down to earth. Breakfast was immaculate and could not fault a thing. All parts were thought about including the homemade bread and jams for the table. The room was beautiful and spacious, with the extra bits of fresh milk for teas and coffees, cold water, beer and wine and homemade shortbread adding the cherry to the cake! The whole house was spotless, could not fault a thing.

That we had to leave as soon as we did and that we couldn't take Penny home with us.

This place is an absolute dream! From the moment we arrived, Linda and Jonathan welcomed us with open arms—and delicious tea and cake! Our room was spacious, comfortable, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. The thoughtful touches—like the tea and coffee setup, homemade biscuits, beer, and even champagne—made our stay feel truly special. Each breakfast was a feast in itself, with homemade sausages, bread and jams, locally sourced produce, and more. Every morning felt like a culinary delight that made it hard to leave. The helpful advice for sightseeing, transportation and more was appreciated and made our trip much more enjoyable. A special mention goes to Penny, the sweetest dog! We loved having her around and hope she enjoys many more happy, healthy years. She’s simply adorable. Thank you again for creating such a wonderful experience.

Its there has massive garden, a lots of flowers, delicious foods! and love Linda’s homemade cake. I recommended you go stay.

What’s not to like?!! This B&B is without a shadow of a doubt the BEST we have ever stayed in! Luxury, attention to detail, every little extra you could wish for to make this a unique and perfect stay. Linda & Jonathan are incredible hosts (Penny is a wee star too!) no wonder guests keep returning to stay in their beautiful home. Thank you for a wonderful time 🤩🤩

There is absolutely NOTHING not to love about staying here. The surroundings, their garden, their home, you truly couldn’t wish for better. If Booking.com had a higher rating than 10 you would most definitely be getting that rating from us. Totally perfect in every way. Thank you!

The breakfast was excellent because you had different options eg eggs boiled scrambled or fried

The whole stay was fabulous. I was greeted by Linda and nothing was too much for her to make my stay as good as it could be. The room was great and breakfast was lovely. The garden was very nice & I enjoyed sitting there with great surroundings
