What Can I say! David is an absolute Gentleman. From the moment we arrived we were given the warmest welcome. David arrived to the front door and escorted us to our room. We were a group of 4 hikers and we were using the bunkbeds. He walked us around the apartment complex showing us the communal areas. He followed up by whatsapping everything we could possibly need to know including local restaurants, bars, shopping markets and other amenities and how far away they were. He even offered to pick us up food from the supermarket himself! We had half the party arriving later so David accommodated the later check in for them and escorted them in later. The buink beds were comfortable enough, clean bedding and the toilet are, communal areas and rooms were spotless. The area is mostly made for backpackers I imagine so the location was perfect, set up right beside the trail start. We had an early breakfast, made personally by David which was delicious, healthy and hearty. It set us up perfectly for the day. We were also stuck because we had backpacks but also suitcases as we had brought extra clothes for after the 3 day hike for a bit of Tenerife R&R. David accommodated this by letting us leave behind our suitcases securely. We then arranged a pick up for our suitcases afterwards when we came down off the mountain. Not only did we received our suitcases but David came even earlier as we had mismanaged the timing! He was an absolute Gentleman. The value for money was also excellent. I would recommend this place to anyone!

The only one suggestion I would have (not necessarily a criticism) is that the bunk bed room did not have AC. The area is substantially cooler than sea level Tenerife in the evening but it was still warm at night. My suggestion would be to have potentially portable AC units that people could rent. Again, this is by no ways means a critisism as much as a suggestion for a bolt on.

Beautiful views to the mountain and the coast. Fresh air. Cooler than down by the sea, but that was nice. Peaceful. The rooms, toilets and house was very, very clean. We really liked that. The owners were also very friendly and helpful.

We wanted to get away from the beach and experience the mountain for a day, so nothing negative to say. Its a simple standard, but thats fine. The kitchen is shared with others but we never used it.

David went above and beyond to make our stay in his bed and breakfast perfect. It's a beautiful location near some nice walks around canyons, and you can watch the world go by with delicious home made breakfast on the balcony. There is a kitchen for guests to use with free coffee and tea, a nice touch! It's also on the bus route between Teide volcano and the coastal resort towns like Los Christianos. If you're looking for somewhere beautiful, tranquil and comfortable with the kindest and most thoughtful host ever, please look no further than VistalRoque! Thank you again David :)

Everything was perfect.

This place is well situated as you have beautiful views both to the ocean and the village underneath as well as to the countryside and mountains above. The owner was nice to us, showed us around the place and in the morning, he prepared us breakfast that was just perfect. As we were to hike the famous GR131 that day, this was such a pleasing start to our journey. Thank you David, that you helped us make that trip such a great experience.

David is an excellent host who takes the extra step to make you feel welcome. We especially enjoyed the roof terrace and the kitchen.

The hosts were very helpful and always available. We enjoyed our conversations and the breakfast was much appreciated. The rooms and shared areas were clean and nicely furnished. The location was great for nearby hikes and views - and also restaurants.

Location is not quite suitable for solo travelers without a car (The place is 30 min by bus from Los Christianos +15 min of walking, latest bus goes at 7:30 pm) It was cold in the room Price is too high for a room with shared bathroom in such a far place

The location is perfect for hikers, and the view from our room was spectacular. For the price we paid, I found that breakfast was fine - we were served a prepared dish, fresh juice, yoghurt with granola (I think), and coffee. Don't expect a buffet-type breakfast - this is not a commercial/large-scale hotel. David, the host, does his utmost best to provide a spotless service.

The room is rather small (we knew that in advance), but the private terraces make up for this. Parking may not be obvious - we parked in the street, but I think there were better spots a bit further from the hotel (200-400m) Throughout our 7-day stay in 3 places in Tenerife, we noticed that led light bulbs in our rooms were always the 'cold' variant, color temp 4000K or even higher. This room was no different.

Nice property in quiet location. Clean and a lot of space foe everyone. Dawid is great host , great contact and he make every efforts for his guest to feel like home. We had an early departure from the airport and he wake up early morning round 6 am just to cook delicious breakfast for us. Thank you so much David
