The host, David, whose hospitality was outstanding, provides a comfortable and peaceful retreat away from the major tourist hubs, yet it’s accessible to most places of interest in the south / southwest of the island. The breakfast was perfect to start our day, the room was cozy and clean. Really a perfect stay at the end of our trip in Tenerife!

Everything was great! Friendly host speaks multiple languages and he alao gave very good advices about nearby restaurants etc. We really enjoyed breakfast! Facility has some workout equipment, I was glad to do some pull-ups there! If I plan to go in that erea again, I would rather choose VistalRoque. Sights on the roof are amazing in the early morning and late night. Finally the bed was monolith instead of two small beds pulled together.

Outside during late evening in winter it might get a little cold, so don't forget to lock your doors at that time.

David is a great host who couldn’t have been more helpful. The place is spotless, breakfast was great and you can take it on the very nice roof terrace. The hotel is in an excellent location for some lovely hikes. Town is quiet but friendly.

For the price I think an ensuite would be better- although it was made very clear that bathroom is shared and there were two - one for men and one for women. I understand some rooms do have private bathrooms.

David is a great host and gives you the feeling of visiting a friend. Breakfast is prepared by him per person and he accounted for all our requests. Location is peaceful with a great view on mountains and the ocean.

Great place to stay. The host David is very communicative and kind. He gave me specific directions, because Google Maps leads you to a dead end, and asked about my exact arrival time to make sure he was outside the hotel when I got there and showed me where to park. I arrived late in the evening and since I didn't have any groceries to cook in the kitchen and didn't feel like going out, he very sweetly put together some snacks for me. Excellent, quiet location near a lot of hiking trails and with an amazing terrace that lets you gaze at the mountains by day, and the stars by night. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and served whenever I wanted. A perfect first stay for my first night in Tenerife, I highly recommend it.

VistalRoque is the perfect retreat for those looking for more than just a beach holiday. Its location makes exploring the stunning Teide National Park and other natural beauties of the island incredibly easy, as they are just a short distance away. The house itself is beautifully renovated, blending charm with modern comfort, and David is a truly exceptional host. His warmth and attentiveness make you feel instantly at home. Our room was spacious and lovely, and the shared bathrooms were always impeccably clean. One of the highlights was enjoying incredible breakfasts at sunrise on the terrace – a memory we’ll cherish forever. We couldn’t be happier that this was our first accommodation on Tenerife!
