Villa Scorzi - Relais de Charme

Very beautiful garden, pool and common areas. Kitchen and garden staff were nice.

- Daily "cleaning" of the room but they didn't even vacuum, they barely made the bed. - Black mold in the shower (!). - Some of the outlets didn't work, broken lightbulbs in the lamps etc. - The lunch they sell by the pool is barely eatable, the bread must have been at least a few days old. Go eat at one of the restaurants in town instead, tastier and cheaper. - Not easy to walk into town, have to walk on either a 70 or 90km/h road without sidewalks. We drove everywhere. - Mentioned in the reservation that we were there for our honey moon, expected to receive at least some kind of gesture (even if just some rose petals on the bed) (you know like you would get in any other 5 star place), they didn't even say congratulations... Obviously not mandatory by the villa but still disappointing.

Vila Scorzi este situată într-un cadru foarte frumos, cu o grădină superbă, piscină și o priveliște minunată asupra împrejurimilor. Atmosfera este liniștită și relaxantă, iar exteriorul proprietății este cu adevărat punctul forte al locației.

Din păcate, curățenia camerelor a fost sub așteptări. Pe durata șederii noastre, nu s-a efectuat curățenie propriu-zisă în cameră. Se schimbau doar prosoapele și se puneau saci de gunoi, însă nu se aspira, nu se spăla pe jos și nu se făcea întreținerea zilnică a camerei. De asemenea, lenjeria de pat nu a fost schimbată deloc timp de patru zile. Este păcat, deoarece locația are un potențial deosebit și ar putea oferi o experiență excelentă dacă s-ar acorda mai multă atenție curățeniei și serviciilor de întreținere.

The Villa was beautiful, every where you looked was another secret garden or room waiting to be discovered. We Loved exploring and enjoying the scenery and tranquility . Hidden Gem.

Straight out of a movie the place. Wonderful gardens, grand pool, relaxing atmosphere from the moment you enter the gate, listening only to the sound of birds, making it ideal for couples seeking by a peaceful getaway. Interior of the place as well the room, luxurious as expected!

Overall, the value for money did not fully meet our expectations. While the property itself is beautiful and offers a truly relaxing atmosphere, several service shortcomings impacted our overall experience. There were no lunch or snack options available despite the presence of a pool area, and even simple requests such as ice for our wine could not be accommodated. During our stay, a bottle of wine accidentally fell and broke in the room. We immediately informed management; however, the response was not as prompt as expected. When staff attended, the glass was removed, but the floor was not properly cleaned, as the wine stain remained visible. We had requested housekeeping to return at 13:00 while we were out, which was agreed upon, yet the room was not serviced upon our return. We were asked about the exact timing of the incident and when housekeeping was requested, which felt unnecessary in the context of an accidental situation. It was then suggested that we might be charged for the damage. We explained that, had a release and indemnity form been presented and signed from the beginning—as is standard practice in many hotels—we would naturally have accepted responsibility for the cost. However, in the absence of any such agreement and given that this was clearly an accident, we did not feel an additional charge was justified. Comments were also made regarding the size of the bottle compared to the minibar bottle, which felt irrelevant to the situation. As hospitality professionals ourselves, we expected a higher level of handling in such matters. Fortunately, no additional charge was ultimately applied. This incident took place on the day of our engagement, which we had been celebrating. In any case we didn’t let it affect our beautiful moment.
