Villa Scorzi - Relais de Charme

Basically everything, for us the accommodation was very wonderful. The building, the pool, something fabulous. The garden, the sculptures give something fantastic atmosphere.

I would rather just give advice, which for me was a bit "negative" that the breakfast could be a bit more varied, because after 3 days it is a bit monotonous to have the same, but in return very tasty everything and it especially adds that a lot of products come from their own garden.

Staff (when available) very kind. Beautiful swimming pool.

Access to the swimming pool just from 9am till 7pm: why so little time? Why not from 8am till 8pm (at least). Especially in summer with hot weather, the best time to chill at the pool was the time when the pool was... closed. Not good. You can't order just a water or a coffee after 3:30pm.... No more staff available. Why? Not good. WIFI too often dropped: annoying.

The Villa brings you back in the 18th century. High ceilings and doors,old paintings/probably replicas/ on the walls,old statues and furniture everywhere. A lot of common halls and corners one can sit and enjoy the peacefulness and calmness of this old entity.Beautiful,vast greens and gardens around. And let’s not forget the fantastic big swimming pool,which is more than enough for the only 12 rooms and suites in the villa.

The villa offers a very nice breakfast,everything fresh and tasty,but…For lunch and around the pool one can order only drinks and a couple of simple sandwiches,no fruits and soups if you want to stay longer in the place. No dinners offered although in Calci and around a couple of very nice places offer different cuisine. Worth mentioning is San Bernardo restaurant high in the mountains with remarkable cuisine and stunning view over Pizza by night.

Breakfast was a 7. Location was great. Pisa and Lucca very close by. Florence and further south small cities about 1 -1.5 hours away with drive through beautiful country side of Tuscany.

Das Frühstück fiel spärlich aus mit kleiner Auswahl und trockenem Brot. Das Personal war recht zurückhaltend und wortkarg.
