Would of been nice if the bar or restaurant was open as not a lot of choice locally

Location is great.

Cobwebs in room, problems with shower but couldn't find any staff to help or advise. Last morning, there was no water in the fridge, and again, there was no staff to ask.

Able to walk into ilkeston town centre

Bath was very shabby took a pass on using it Bed very uncomfortable

Felt duped, website looks great, high end even. Thought I’d bagged a bargain Derbyshire country pub, turned up to a run down property, with a HMO feel and a distinct smell of curry, nestled between an industrial estate and a back to back terraced estate that felt unsafe to walk through. Local town is largely made up of Thai massage parlours, charity shops and boarded up bingo halls. Told my colleagues where I’d stayed and they laughed, saying, “Yeah, it’s really rough there, you’re lucky to still have your car.”

Breakfast wasn’t included which wasn’t a big problem but from the website info we were expecting it to be.

Beds are tired and mattresses require replacing. Very uncomfortable
