I was thinking of canceling my trip to Kandy because of the damage caused by the cyclone I am so glad that I did not!!! Getting there was fairly straightforward and so worth it! The reception and general atmosphere of the place put us in a complete sense of relaxation...by the time we had finished a couple of delicious meals we were in a complete state of bliss! The hostess was completely wonderful as was her staff so kind professional easy going and friendly... and there is the sweetest doggy in the world a beautiful 2-year-old golden retriever that will steal your heart forever! If you were traveling to Kandy I would definitely recommend this place it is within half a kilometer of a train station and has an easy going welcoming luxurious vibe to the place...

Godess was a truly complete and exceptional place to stay for me. The property is run by Gaya, a strong, inspiring, and incredibly capable woman who manages this beautiful home together with her daughter and their pet. The location is excellent—so close to the railway station that you can easily walk there. The rooms are just as lovely and comfortable as the house itself, and guests can also enjoy access to a dreamy swimming pool. The property has a beautiful garden as well, and despite the recent cyclone, everything has fully returned to normal. On top of all that, you can enjoy delicious local homemade food at the house. Finally, spending time and having conversations with Gaya is a gift in itself. If I ever return to Sri Lanka, this will definitely be my place to stay again.

We stayed at GODDESS and had a wonderful experience. Even right after the cyclone, Kandy was almost fully back to normal, and the location just 400m from A1 Colombo road. made everything super convenient. The place felt cozy and homey, and the staff were incredibly caring. We loved the delicious food, especially the hoppers and rice & curry. The tropical garden was such a peaceful spot to relax together, and the friendly doggy made our stay even sweeter. We also really appreciated the calm and comforting atmosphere throughout the place. It’s the kind of place where you instantly feel welcome and taken care of, and it made our stay in Kandy feel extra special. Hoping to visit again.

Goddess Kandy is a beautiful and spacious place with a relaxing atmosphere. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Rooms may need TLC. You need to double check if they know your time of arrival.

Schön eingerichtetes Hotel mit all den tollen Pflanzen und besonderen rustikalen Möbeln. Definitiv ein besonderes Ambiente in diesem Hotel. Das war positiv! Cool ist auch der Billardtisch! 😊

Wir hatten leider einige Tiere in unserem Zimmer (Gekos, Schnecke, Kakerlake). Wir hatten hier um Hilfe bei der Entfernung gefragt, woraufhin hin uns sichtlich genervt ein neues Zimmer gegebene wurde. Wir haben die Reaktion gar nicht verstanden. Unangenehm haben wir den Hund der Besitzerin erlebt. Dieser ist groß, sprang uns ständig an und biss/kratze uns mehrfach leicht. Auch beim Essen versucht er etwas von unserem Essen zu essen. Obwohl uns dies unangenehm war, wurde nichts dagegen gemacht. Gerade bei Kindern halte ich dies für äußerst problematisch!! Leider hatten wir auch das Gefühl, dass wir auf der Anlage wenig erwünscht waren. Ständig wurden wir gefragt, ob wir denn nicht in Kandy was machen wollen oder wann wir denn vom Fahrer abgeholt werden. Wir haben uns nicht wie willkommene Gäste gefühlt.

La casa è meravigliosa, sembra di soggiornare in una rivista di design d’interni. Gaya è stata super disponibile e l’accoglienza dello staff accompagnata dalle coccole del cagnolone di casa non ha eguali! Kandy dista una ventina di minuti in tuktuk, mentre la stazione di Peradenyia è 5 minuti. Ottima anche la ristorazione, oltre alla colazione abbiamo deciso di fare anche la cena ed è stata molto buona e abbondante!

Really beautiful property. The interior design and vibe was outstanding. Jamal was the main member of staff there and he was friendly, helpful and accommodating.

Just a little far out of Kandy town compared to other accommodations available but it does offer a tranquil, isolated retreat vibe
