Wow - this hotel, in a quieter area of town, has top marks for the views from both the reception area and our large stylish bedroom. You can see the whole basin of the lake, and the mountains beyond. Stunning. Although still quite central, it is situated up a hill but, if you dont want to walk there are plenty of tuk-tuks that will drive there. Our bedroom was very clean with a large comfortable bed with duvet. The room was so much larger than expected with a lovely wooden vaulted ceiling and old-style wooden furniture plus a nice, sunny balcony. Bathroom good too with excellent walk-in modern shower with hot water. Air con and fan both worked well Tea and coffee facilities were provided. WiFi - good. The staff were really friendly and helpful, we watched our breakfast being made by Chanuka, we were waited on by another young man. In the two days we stayed we had a different breakfast - one day omelette, homemade flat bread plus dahl/samba/spicy onions, second day rice-flour hoppers with egg, butter, jam. There was a lovely calm feel about the place, and the staff reflected that too. They were really nice guys. Would very highly recommend this fabulous accommodation.

We loved staying here. The accommodation was excellent. The room was big with a fantastic bathroom attached.The bed was big & comfortable. The shower was really good with great water pressure and lots of hot water. We loved the terrace/balcony where we could view the city below and the canopy around us. The guys running the place really made us feel welcome and very warm & friendly. Great cooks too. Breakfast was really good, with fresh coffee, juices and hoppers with fresh sambal and onion chutney. Lovely breakfast room with city views. I've no hesitation in recommending others to stay here.

A bit out the way and very steep, hard for taxi driver to access

Large spacious house with 3 large guestrooms. Easy to walk into town as well. I forgot ! My passport in the safe and the owner arranged it's safe transport back to me.

Everything about this place was excellent. From the picturesque views to the warm service provided by the staff, we felt well taken care of. Highly recommended.
