Great location, amazing views. The two young men who live there took great care and were excellent cooks as well!! I saw other reviewers complain about the trek up the hill, but I had no problems getting down and you’ll need the walk up to work off all the breakfast these lads cook up for you!! A tuk tuk is only a few dollars if you’re tired or feeling lazy, but I found it quite safe and there’s a very popular viewing platform along the way. The monkey visits in the afternoon were particularly funny, love to know who their barber is 😂

Chambre très confortable avec une très belle vue sur Kandy, son lac et le temple de la dent. Le petit déjeuner est excellent et notre hôte a été très gentil et serviable. Le petit escalier derrière la maison permet de se rendre au centre ville en 10 minutes à pied. C’était très bien !

Le petit déjeuner est vraiment excellent mais prend un peu de temps : il faut compter une bonne heure (mais cela n’était peut être le cas que durant notre séjour, où la maison était gérée par une seule personne. Je crois que ce n’est pas comme ça tout le temps). Aussi, si vous avez des problèmes de mobilité, il faut savoir que l’escalier arrière de la maison n’est pas facile d’accès, ce qui vous contraindra à prendre des Tuk Tuk pour chacun de vos déplacements. Heureusement, ce n’était pas notre cas.

Room was a great size, bed was comfy and the view from the balcony was amazing. The hosts were very kind, cooked a lovely breakfast for us, and helped us to book a taxi to our next destination. Would absolutely stay again. It was only a short 15-20 min walk into the center, which is more than worth it for the peace and quiet.

Nothing really. Hill was a bit steep, to get to the property, but the view more than made up for it.

The room was large and comfortable with an amazing view of Kandy city. Breakfast was really good - we enjoyed the egg hoppers! The staff is friendly and helpful as was the owner.

Fantastic location on top of Kandy, great views. Spacious, elegant, clean room. Large sitting area, balconies. Wonderful staff...Nawod and Chanuka were delightful hosts, lovely nature, great cooks, responded immediately and available all hours to make tasty treats, milky tea and coffee. Our driver, Gamini, was initially just meant to pick us up from the airport but soon became our tour guide, surprising us slong the way with delicious mangoes, bananas, pineapple and jackfruit, even local sweets and savories. In the few days we were there, he took us to many temples, tea and spice gardens and factories, a batik shop and even the centre most spot in Sri Lanka. He kept thinking of extra delights. He even took us home for lunch and we met his family. He booked the famous train ride to Ella, and a fabulous hotel to stay, as well as whale watching in Mirissa....tickets which were impossible at such late notice, for good prices. Everywhere we went, he had friends.

Couldn't fault it.

Hidden in this hill but a very short walk into town perfectly located away from the hussle and bustle.

Lovely staff but very little English which is fine but made my hard to organise certain things and the can’t except American Express which wasn’t perfect.
