It is charming places, close to the old part of Bari and on walkable distance to the train station and intercity bus stop. The most amazing is the host, Carla. She is very responsive and kind lady, providing tasty breakfast and fresh fruit every morning. The big advantage is shared breakfast nook which you can use during a day, so you can prepare yourself a coffee/tea and take some snacks and fruit anytime. Plus each room has its own fridge.

It can be noisy at night due to noisy cars and motorbikes.

That was really clean and close to city center. Owner is also really sweet and helpful.

The location is good - 3 minute walk from the Old town.

The space was not clean - there was dust everywhere and mold in the bathroom. The worst part was the huge cockroach we saw on the second floor where the bed is. The sheets on that bed were stained and had hair on them. So we had to sleep on the sagging spring-mattress sofa, and our backs hurt in the morning. The space inside is very dark, as the windows are all wooden, which don’t provide good isolation and when closed all you rely on are the few dimmed lamps inside. The only glass window is in the bathroom, so it leaves no privacy when you’re taking a shower. All facilities are worn down and the bathroom door doesn’t even close. The noice from the street is deafening (especially from the litter trucks early in the morning). We had booked 2 nights, but wouldn’t stay another night, so the owner was so kind to return the money for the second night. We also complained to Booking (hoping they would return their commission or compensate us, but they didn’t). After the owner found out about our complaint, they sent us a passive-aggressive message, which was not in good taste.
