Ross and Penny are beautiful, thoughtful people and hosts. This bnb is absolutely stunning, super homely, and the local area is simply awesome with lots to do, really. I attended a musical gig at the Sawmill and now have found the place to be every time I come back. Leigh Panorama - Highly Recommended. Thank you, Ross and Penny.

Our lovely hosts were fabulous! Gorgeous little welcoming touches in our room from homemade treats, fruit, water and spring flowers from the garden. We slept well in our comfortable warm bed, I enjoyed the sundrenched lounge, books and Magazines. A lovely spread for breakfast in the morning. This Area is stunning, we took a short walk nearby to see the amazing coastal views. We also visited the Marine reserve a short drive away and took in a beautiful setting sun. Matakana Village with its neat shops and eateries just a handy 15minutes drive away. So much to do even in a 24hr period, we wish we could have stayed a few nights and explored for longer, but 1 night was also just perfect for a short getaway. If you enjoy a homely feel and friendly hosts, you can't go past this lovely accommodation.

Very clean and comfortable place makes you feel at home. The hosts, Penny and Ross are very friendly couple. We loved to explore at their garden too planted some vegetables, some fruits and flowers.

Ross & Penny were fabulous hosts. The room and facilities were exceptionally clean and comfortable. Our room was part of the main house but the doors close off for privacy and we had our own bathroom and toilet. We were also able to make use of the rest of the house as needed. There was fresh fruit and toffee fudge in our room on our arrival which was lovely and the continental breakfasts were substantial and delicious. The gardens on the property are beautiful.

Everything. The interior, the space, the collection of tea and coffee with decaf option. We had to get back home a day earlier because of funeral and the owner was very accommodating and changed our booking. The owner live upstairs and you share the kitchen. The breakfast was an extra bonus. Thank you for sharing your beautiful house with us.

It's a bit off the main track, so expect some driving to get there.

Penny and Ross were amazing hosts. Really appreciated their suggestions on the different walks and things to do in the area. And absolutely loved Penny's homemade toffee 😊

The location to Leigh Sawmill was fantastic. The breakfast in the morning was a surprise and very generous. The host were lovely and friendly, and were great at providing personal space.

The bed had a bit of roll together, but was otherwise fine.

The space was really well laid out, was immaculately clean and the hosts were just wonderful. The perfect balance of there to chat and give us some helpful tips for our stay in Leigh, but also gave us space to relax and enjoy our visit.
