French Bay House

Breakfast was excellent. Superb location. A short 2 minute walk to restaurants and shops yet extremely quiet at night.

Bathroom basin very tiny and no shelf room for anything.

This is the best BnB I have stayed at anywhere in the world. The hosts were very warm and welcoming and their hospitality was very generous. Complimentary fruit, wine, beer, soft drinks, water. A full continental plus cooked hearty breakfast of our choice was provided. Rhonda also made pastries to take with us for morning tea when we left. Loved sitting on the french swinging love seat enjoying a wine in the early evening and a port late in the evening in the loungeroom with the lovely music. Very comfortable beds and great to have own shower and toilet in the room too. A stand out BnB. Thank you. Tracey

Rhonda was an amazing host

I loved how welcoming Rhonda and Tom were on my arrival.......and how they were willing to cater to my every need. They were very easy to talk to and offered me coffee at every opportunity. My room made me feel like a princess..........the decor was absolutely beautiful and the bed was extremely comfortable. The lounge was a lovely quiet place to relax in and the fire was continually kept alive. My breakfast was perfect..........home-made and fresh. I would highly recommend this B&B to everyone........especially in the current off-season when there are no crowds, queues or over-run walking tracks.

Expansive breakfast, very nicely cooked and presented. Lovely hosts who had the right balance of being around and available, ready to talk and advise, but still left us in peace to enjoy this very pretty cottage. A great location, we walked everywhere and just really enjoyed being here!

We loved everything about staying at the French Bay House from the moment we arrived, the fireplace, the welcome drink, friendly hosts and most importantly our beautiful French decor bedroom. Our room was comfortable and very independent with another side door entrance. The hosts, Rhonda, Wal and Tom go the extra mile to make sure you’re taken care of. We stayed three nights and every morning we had a delicious breakfast and talk to the other guests. The home is beautiful,tidy and with the background music in some of the rooms makes you feel very relaxed! I particularly loved that by the second day Rhonda knew exactly how I liked my eggs cooked and even my choice of tea. They really make you feel like you’re at home away from home.

The location is perfect. Rhonda was just lovely and the overall vibe is outstanding.
