Il fascino del luogo e dello stesso sasso sono impareggiabili ma l’accoglienza di Nicola e suo padre è cosa rara. Disponibili a condividere la loro profonda e radicata conoscenza del luogo. È stata una gradevole esperienza di casuali rapporti umani.

Amazing host, who went above and beyond for us, meeting us where we parked our car and helping us with our luggage. He told us where to go and what to see, and even organised some wine for us to buy and sold us some of his home produced olive oil. At the end of our stay his father drove us and our luggage back to our car. Our room was perfect, beautifully furnished in a Meteran style, with a great bathroom. Breakfast at 8.30 was brushetta, made using the olive oil, courgettes, blood orange juice and coffee. I cannot recommend this B&B more highly. Matera really is a city of dreams! Cobbled streets, lots of steps up and down, but the most beautiful place I've ever visited.

The B and B was a lovely place to stay! It was great to hear all about the history of the property from Nicola and it is in an excellent location to explore magical Matera. Nicola is an exceptional host. He met us with an informative chat about where to go and how to see Matera at its best. His suggestions were so helpful and the map invaluable. The breakfast is superb and it was great to meet Nicolas dad who lived in the house as a child. Nicola could not have been more helpful and is the epitome of a great host. Thank you Nicola and Giovanni for looking after us so well!

La ubicación , muy limpio todo, muy buen desayuno, Nicola : un 10 !!! Como la propiedad está en la zona histórica Nicola nos fue a buscar para ayudarnos con las valijas, lo mismo a la ida. Todo fue súper aceptable! Si tengo que volver iría a este B & B

Nicola was the perfect host with all the Italian charm, and he gave us a true taste of Matera. The room, set inside a rock-hewn cave that belonged to his grandfather, was simply everything I had imagined and made our stay magical.
