Spacious quirky and welcoming

We were more than pleased with the comfortable, spacious and beautifully furnished accommodation and much admired the eclectic mix of antique furniture and remarkable, locally produced artwork. The entertaining conversation over breakfast with our charming host, John, and breakfast itself which was a welcome, healthy change from the usual predictable fry-up made for a much later getaway than we had planned! We shall certainly return when we are next in Scotland and would recommend Kirkview to anyone looking for a good place to stop over on the road north. Moffat itself is handily close to the A74 and has a good choice of pubs and hotels for dinner within 5 minutes' walk.
