What a warm welcome from Mike and Maree. This is in a great location, short walk from the centre of town. Very exclusive feel as you are the only guests.

Super hosts, great breakfast and bikes available for a winery cycle tour 🥰

We loved the large comfortable bedroom/lounge, plenty of space to spread out and relax. The traditional decor gave the room enormous character and there were great views from the large windows. Each day's continental breakfast was a highlight with lots of choices and quality ingredients. We very much enjoyed talking each day over breakfast with Mike and Maree, giving us tips of places to go and aspects of NZ life. They certainly made us very welcome and extended their friendship to include us. The house is located in a lovely leafy neighborhood and close to the lovely city of Napier.

The road up to the property was steep, however, we soon got used to it.

Mike and Maree are great hosts. They provide a lovely breakfast and the room is extremely comfortable with a fabulous view. Worth waking early for the amazing sunrise.

Friendly hosts. Helpful suggestions for things to do. Loved the drive to Te Mata. The room is very spacious with a comfortable sitting area. Great view.

The location is near the top of a steep drive which is not well lit at night. We decided to not risk driving it at night as we had a rental car. A 5 min walk down and a 10 min walk up. Not bad.

Peaceful and quiet, comfortable bed and arm chair 💺, good size TV.
