Abbiamo soggiornato in questa favolosa masseria e siamo stati accolti con calore e attenzione in ogni dettaglio. La colazione, genuina e curata, ci ha deliziato ogni mattina, mentre lo staff ci ha raccontato con passione la storia della masseria e dei paesi intorno, immergendoci completamente nell’atmosfera unica del luogo. Qui si percepisce profondamente la qualità e l’amore per la terra che circonda la struttura. Un’esperienza autentica e rigenerante, che consigliamo vivamente a chi cerca un soggiorno speciale.

The most perfect stay in the heart of Salento. A beautiful old Masseria, lovingly and tastefully restored by Alessandro and Emeline. Breakfast is different every day but it’s always delicious, with fresh local ingredients. The perfect location to explore beautiful beaches and historic towns such as Nardò, Galatina, and Lecce.

Amazing staff and place was beautiful

While traveling through Puglia for a month we chose to stay at Galeta Masseria B&B and Retreat - a truly a DIVINE escape. Nestled on a beautiful, still-active family farm, this place combines rustic charm with impeccable cleanliness and stunning architecture. The property, passed down through generations, offers a peaceful, restorative environment surrounded by natural beauty. The breakfast here is beyond belief — an absolute highlight. Hosts Alessandro and Emeline are outstanding chefs, creating a culinary experience far from ordinary. Every morning featured something unique, from perfect omelets made with fresh eggs from the chickens on the farm, to seared halloumi with caramelized onion tarts, to stracciatella cheese paired with cherry tomatoes on freshly baked homemade sourdough, as well as the most delicious banana bread and custom pastries — all organic and gluten-free. What made our stay truly memorable was the charm and warmth of Alessandro and Emeline. Despite being new parents to baby Ulisse, they were laid-back, attentive, and generous - serving us a surprise quick dinner that was not expected - and providing excellent recommendations for local day trips. Alessandro’s cheerful “OK! Let’s Go!” as he delivered breakfast each morning brought smiles and started our days on a joyful note. Their working dairy farm is a lively place, home to friendly dogs, goats, chatty cows, and chickens, as well as fruit trees and vegetable gardens all providing fresh ingredients for their farm-made cheeses, eggs, and great dishes. We even watched Allesandro’s 90-year-old grandfather lovingly make cheese, adding authentic charm to the experience. The entire experience was a perfect blend of rustic authenticity, comfort, and heartfelt hospitality—a truly restorative retreat in the heart of a working family farm. We’ll be back for sure!
