Galeta Masseria

Gorgeous, unique property. Each and every corner was decorated with beautiful designs and details. The breakfasts were so delicious and we all slept so well at night. Alessandro and Emeline are wonderful hosts!

This is a must-visit place in Puglia. We stayed in several similar masserias in Italy and this one was absolutely extraordinary. The hosts E and A put a lot of love and effort into the experience. You can feel it all the time and in every corner. You will sleep in historical tower which is restored with great attention to detail and on point design choices. We felt safe, comfortable and cozy, without sacrificing the historical and village feel. Breakfasts are done with love, from great local ingredients, we already miss them. Hosts are lovely, calm and warm, it was little sad to leave, but great reason to come back for longer!

The property was beautiful, thoughtfully designed and the breakfasts were a joy. Emeline and Alessandro were lovely and had lots of great advice for restaurants and beaches to visit.

Fabulous stay at Galeta. The second we walked through the door we were warmly welcomed by Alessandro and Emeline. We felt like we were staying with family. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and peaceful. The breakfasts were out of this world. All homemade and local ingredients, it was truly incredible and a highlight of our entire trip. The yoga studio is stunning and has everything you need. We will certainly be back again!! Thank you!

What is not to like about this homey, historic, hospitable place in the heart of the Salento region and very close to some truly beautiful towns. It is so nice to have a place to escape the August crowds and the added bonus it is only you and one other party as it is only two bedrooms. It feels like you are staying at a family’s house but with your own privacy. The best part of it all the hosts Emeline and Alessandro, what beautiful humans who are accommodating in every way from a full guide to the best places to eat and see around the area but also just really kind people. Thank you for an unforgettable stay!

We had a great short stay. The property is amazing and tastefully renovated. We especially enjoyed sitting in the courtyard at night. Emeline and Alessandro are the most welcoming hosts.

The farm is beautiful, gorgeously remodeled, the hosts are lovely and kind, the location is excellent, the property is peaceful and charming. Alessandro made breakfast and it was the best meal we ate in our entire stay in Puglia. He made the bread, the cheese, grew the vegetables, made the cake, fresh juice…everything you imagine when eating fresh, local food in Italy. Emmeline provided us with a comprehensive list of cities/beaches to visit. There is a yoga studio on the property and everything was spotlessly clean.
