"The beauty and peacefulness of Vivenda Balou stays with you long after you leave."

The gardens were beautiful and varied. The view, especially at sunset, was like a postcard! There were several types of songbirds and the neighborhood was quiet.

Warm welcome from Jacqueline, Hans and Balou the dog. Comfortable, super clean and spacious room. Tasty homemade breakfast with fruits from the garden. Great pool and outdoor area - a really relaxed environment.

"Lovely location and hosts"

Hans and Jaqueline are delightful hosts who did everything to make our stay a success. The accommodation itself was super-clean and comfortable, and the swimming pool and garden were a lovely relaxing place to spend time in. It’s only a 10 minute walk from the house down to Silves for its shops and restaurants, so you do need a car to get there. Hans kingly took us in his car to the coast at a very reasonable price.

Gorgeous pool area with honour bar. Beautiful gardens and view. Beautiful patio where breakfast is served.

Room was not adequately furnished. Hardly any lamps etc. Bathroom was outside hallway with access to other rooms. Breakfast was good but very small. we had to pay for an extra blanket and extra food for breakfast.

The breakfast is wonderful. Lots to choose from and everything is carefully and nicely presented and prepared. The overall property is beautiful, even better than in the pictures. Everything is very clean. Jacqueline and Hans are so nice, friendly, and helpful.

Everything was neat and clean, the room and bathroom were spacious. The owners are very friendly and suggested nice things to do/see around the area. The breakfast was great, different kind of (homemade) breads and fruits everyday. Lovely pool and relaxing spots around it. The owners take great care of their property and it shows! We were very happy with our stay :)
